Dan Carter is a young, passionate entrepreneur who recently set up shop in Huntsville.
Located in a unit at 59 Main Street East, Carter’s Canadian Cannabis is a retail store for … well … cannabis products.
“Medical marijuana, it’s an organic seed, and it’s been shown to improve many people’s lives in different ways,” Carter says. “Cannabis can help regulate pain, moods and other medical conditions. There’s endless benefits and the science is showing it’s working for those who use it.”
Carter’s products are organically grown in British Columbia by qualified and licensed professionals who strictly monitor the plants for quality and safety. The growers even have their products laboratory tested to ensure it meets organic standards.
“They test it for PH levels, pesticides and other chemicals so they can be sure it’s a good, clean product,” says Carter.
Carter wants to be more than just the guy who owns the marijuana store on Main Street. He would like to be involved in educational programming on cannabis and be a participating member in the community.
“I’m hoping to be the cannabis guru in town,” says Carter. “I want people to ask me questions and learn more about the benefits of organically grown marijuana.”
For those wanting to stop by and see what Carter is offering, all are welcome. However, to purchase any of the medical marijuana, individuals will need to have government approved marijuana cards. To this effect, Carter has displayed the proper ID requirements on his front door.
“I’m completely licensed and legitimate,” he says. “I’ll be paying my taxes like any other business owner, which helps support education, healthcare and other parts of the community.”
